Frequently asked questions for candidates
You can build a profile pretty quickly, usually between 15-20 minutes, so long as you have a good record of your career history to hand.
The more sections you complete the greater the chance you will be hired as our technology always tries to list the most comprehensive profiles at the top of the profile page search (used by employers).
Our text boxes are cut and paste enabled, so summaries from your CV or other professional platforms can easily be inserted.
Every profile is reviewed by Natrespro to ensure the information is accurate and there are no missing gaps. Your profile is then approved and you will be informed by email, in some instances we will want to speak with you to clarify some information. Only authorised companies and their respective hiring managers and/or in-house talent teams can see your profile. The hiring manager will message you when they have a suitable vacancy or project and you will receive an email with the job description with the option to accept or decline an interview invitation.
You can make changes to your profile by accessing your account setting and selecting "Edit profile". Each time you save your changes, Natrespro will review and approve your changes.
Hiring managers from Oil Companies to Drilling Contractors are looking for permanent staff, contractors (inside and outside IR35, per status determination), and business-to-business.
We are also opening our platform to the business segments that represent the energy transition, in particular geothermal and wind energy.
Sign up and build your profile for free. You will be asked to complete some basic personal information along with your work preferences (for example: "Are you open to relocation?") followed by selecting your key specialities and work history. Natrespro will then review your profile. For profiles registered within UK working hours, you can expect approval to take less than 30 minutes and we will notify you via email.
Once your profile has been approved, hiring managers will be able to see your profile and message you on the platform, as and when they see you as a suitable fit for their job or work project. You will then be able to view the job listing and decide whether to accept or decline an interview with the hiring manager.
Natrespro traditionally has roles for the oil and gas sector, mainly in the upstream energy segment. More recently roles in the renewables sector are becoming more commonplace and we expect to see more of these roles soon. The exact range of roles available will vary month by month, dependent on which companies sign up and are actively hiring. Visit the homepage to view by category and specific role.
As a candidate, you will be contacted by employers directly and their messages sent to your email will include a link to view the job offer. You can decide whether to accept or decline the job offer, with the option to arrange an interview with the hiring manager.
Natrespro is free for candidates, forever. We won't share your details with any third party organisations, with the exception of employers who join the platform and want to speak with you. And for extra security employers will not see your full identity unless you chose to offer them access.
We are not a recruitment company, so we will not be looking for you to sign any exclusivity agreements.
We make our money by securing customers in the energy sector.
The company has been going for 5 years and during this time, companies have hired for numerous roles. Companies include national oil companies and rig contractors and we expect to see companies from the renewable energy sector join soon.
Yes. We can assist with traditional Contractor-based roles, although Contractors should expect to be engaged according to the outcome of a 'Status Determination Statement'. We are also pioneers in matching top talent with project-based work scopes which operate on a business-to-business basis.
Through industry engagement, we have created what is most probably the most sophisticated global talent-matching platform for the upstream energy segment. Avoiding the lottery of processing CVs takes talent-matching to a new level.
Candidates no longer need to trust that their personal data is being processed and presented in an appropriate manner.
The Natrespro team also fully understand technical work scopes, enabling more appropriate talent matching when a human touch is required.
We are a technology provider, and we do not represent candidates as agents, so candidates are free from any exclusivity obligations with Natrespro.
We make sure that your profile is automatically hidden from your current employer.
To enable this level of security it is important, that whenever possible you select your current employer from our extensive drop-down menu.
Yes, if you are no longer in the market for a job, you can change your status, by visiting your dashboard page and changing the field Update your work situation.
As a platform, we are in the process of attracting more employers to the platform, the number of vacancies will vary month by month, however, we aim to have a 20/80 split between employees/candidates.
You may not find a job in the first few weeks, however, we strongly advise keeping your profile active as the employment market is changing regularly.
The time-to-hire (initial interview through to hire) varies from customer to customer and is dependent on the type of work, location, and visa requirements (where necessary).
Yes, this is also becoming more common during Covid-19, especially when it comes to projects that don't require you to be off-shore.
